Refund & Cancellation Policy
Captain Hook subscriptions are sold by our reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle processes every refund; this policy explains when you are entitled to one and how to cancel.
1. Free trial
The free trial needs no payment details and is never charged. If you do not subscribe, nothing is billed when it ends.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not happy with a new paid subscription, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full — monthly or yearly. The subscription is cancelled when the refund is issued.
3. Renewals
Renewal payments are not refundable once the new billing period has started, except where this policy or the law says otherwise. To avoid a renewal, cancel before your renewal date — the date is shown on your Billing page.
If a yearly subscription renews and you did not mean it to, contact us within 14 days of the renewal date and we will refund that renewal in full.
4. Billing mistakes
Duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation, and any other billing error are always refunded in full.
5. Changing plans
When you move between plans or between monthly and yearly billing, Paddle credits the unused part of your current period automatically, and shows you the amount before you confirm. That credit is applied to your future payments rather than refunded as cash.
6. How to cancel
Cancel any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. No further payments are taken. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for; after that, your customers can keep checking in for 7 more days, then your programme goes offline. You can resume a scheduled cancellation from the same page before the period ends.
7. How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] with your business name and the order number from your Paddle receipt, or contact Paddle directly at paddle.net. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.
Nothing in this policy affects rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
